Kindergarten Teacher

25-26 School Year

Summary: We are seeking a full-time teacher to join our team at Coloma Elementary School. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a passion for early childhood education. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for our kindergarten students.

Responsibilities: - Plan and implement daily lessons that align with the district's curriculum standards and meet the needs of all learners - Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters social-emotional development and promotes a love of learning - Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instructional decisions - Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom happenings - Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide events and initiatives - Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment - Attend and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited college or university - Applicant must be Highly Qualified and Endorsed for this position with a Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (K-5 all subjects (ZC, ZG or ZO)) - Experience working with young children, preferably in a kindergarten setting - Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in early childhood education - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families - Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
