Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves educating students in foundational literacy and numeracy skills, promoting social-emotional development, and creating engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Educate students in literacy education, including reading and writing skills. Educate students in Mathematics education. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing behavior management techniques. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to support children's development. Provide tutoring and additional support for students requiring extra assistance. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children, including those with autism or special needs. Proficient in proofreading educational materials for clarity and accuracy. Ability to write clear, concise lesson plans and educational resources. Understanding of childhood development milestones and appropriate interventions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
