Ludington Elementary School Classroom Teacher Posting - School Year Ludington Elementary School in Ludington, MI seeks a dynamic, relationship-driven classroom teacher to provide instruction to kindergarten students in a building that works to provide students with an experience-rich education that promotes positive relationships, focused instruction, and a growth mindset. Ludington Elementary School opened in and is a state-of-the-art teaching and learning facility. The successful candidate will meet the requirements listed below:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate learning for elementary students using the district-approved curriculum to drive instructional decisions that align with Michigans academic standards.
Collaborate with teachers within the structure of a Professional Learning Community to enhance curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Establish a classroom structure that values positive relationships and supports the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports system.
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and needs.
Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction and engage students in the learning process.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.

The skill and willingness to leverage the ASCD Whole Child model to ensure that students social, emotional, nutritional and health needs are addressed.
The ability to collaboratively create and execute clear, logical instructional plans that produce strong results in student learning.
The ability to integrate 21st Century competencies such as technology literacy, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and problem solving, goal setting, ethical citizenship, and personal accountability in curriculum.
The capacity to create a system of ongoing data collection and analysis to inform a tiered intervention system.
The capacity to align curriculum, instruction, and assessments while responding to the individual needs of students.
Required Professional Qualification:
Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Education
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Valid state licensing to meet Highly Qualified requirements
