Teachers at GLA provide direct instruction, develop lesson plans, and create curriculum materials to support the educational growth of all scholars. This role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with the ability to analyze data and adapt instruction to meet student needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver instruction in small and large group settings, modifying curriculum as needed. Collaborate daily with colleagues to monitor and support student progress. Develop and implement individualized scholar plans and meet with parents to discuss student growth. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures. Attend professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills. Use behavior management techniques to promote positive student outcomes. Administer and interpret assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Education Certification with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred). Ability and willingness to work an extended schedule. Experience working with diverse populations, including low to moderate-income families. Strong analytical skills to assess data and develop student goals. Skills & Abilities: Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to modify curriculum and implement accommodations effectively. Proficiency in conflict resolution and maintaining cooperative relationships. Capacity to manage sensitive information with confidentiality. Compensation: Salary range: $50,000 - $100,000 , based on experience and education.
