K-8th Music/Band Teacher

St. Patrick Catholic School in Brighton, MI is seeking a passionate and dynamic educator to join our team as a K-8 Music and Band Teacher. This position includes teaching general music classes for students in grades K-4, as well as leading our band program for students in grades 5-8. The role also includes coordinating and directing two major performances each year-one during Advent and one in the spring.

Be practicing Catholics who are eager to share their faith with students. Exhibit a deep commitment to Catholic education and the teaching vocation. Maintain a well-managed and engaging classroom environment. Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and a desire to be part of a faith-filled professional community. Communicate consistently and effectively with parents. Be open to other duties as assigned by administration. Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education - music certification preferred. Current Michigan teaching certification (elementary or secondary). Catechetical Certification (or willingness to obtain). Completion of a criminal background check and participation in the VIRTUS program.
