Huntington Learning Center in Bloomingdale is hiring tutors for K-12 instruction in Reading, Writing, or Math. We are looking for dedicated teachers to help our students reach a brighter future!

Benefits: Hours available weekdays after school and Saturdays + Sundays 9-1. No lesson plans to create or homework to grade. Paid initial and ongoing training. No more than 3-1 instruction. Flexible schedules (4-20 hours per week). Wonderful work environment.

Job Requirements: Part-time evening and/or weekend availability. College degree required. Teaching certification required; Type 09 teaching certification is a plus, but is not required for those with Mathematics, Reading, or Writing expertise (verified by completion of an assessment test). Willingness to commute to Bloomingdale location at 357 W. Army Trail Rd. Suite 26, Bloomingdale IL, 60108.

Experience: Relevant: 1 year (Preferred). Teaching: 1 year (Preferred).

Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, teaching students, implementing curriculum, communicating student needs to full-time staff, and creating a positive, supportive and interactive environment for our students. We offer paid initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum. There are no lesson plans to create or homework to grade. Compensation is between $16.50 -$18/hour based on experience and the level of subject matter instructed.
