Itinerant Special Education Teacher Position Duration: August 11, 2025 May 22, 2026 Weekly Hours: 30 hours per week Caseload: Approximately 16 students, ages Early Childhood through 21 years Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Itinerant Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support across multiple school sites. This role requires flexibility and strong organizational skills to effectively serve a diverse caseload spanning early childhood through young adulthood. Key Responsibilities: Travel to multiple school locations to deliver tailored special education services Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately 16 students Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff to promote student success Utilize evidence-based practices to support academic, social, and behavioral growth Maintain detailed records and progress monitoring for each student Qualifications: Valid Special Education certification/license appropriate for the caseload Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school sites Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills This is a rewarding opportunity for an educator who enjoys working with a wide age range of students and values making a meaningful impact in diverse educational settings.
