Itinerant Middle School Science Teacher (Part-Time)

Seeking a part-time itinerant middle school science teacher to serve as Teacher of Record at Hebron Middle School and Mt. Washington Middle School (4 classrooms). The primary responsibilities include academic oversight, collaboration with instructional tutors on instructional platforms, facilitating parent communication as needed, grading/reporting, PLC support, data analysis, etc. This role is vital for supporting the facilitation of online instructional platforms and ensuring high-quality science education for students. Specific areas of responsibility connected to certified teacher job description:
Provide academic oversight and support the facilitation of online instructional platforms aligned to KY Academic Standards for science. Co-plan with instructional tutors and provide them with support. Grading Oversight: Oversee and manage grading to ensure accuracy and consistency, Collaboration with Instructional Coaches: Work with instructional coaches, administration, etc. in each building. Participate in training as needed for effective facilitation of classroom instruction to support instructional tutors.
Required Qualifications: - KY teaching certificate -Science
This position is part-time and only for the 2025-2026 school year.
Part-Time: 3.75 hours - which equals 3 hours and 45 minutes a day. Not eligible for benefits.
