Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.

At TLE, we've created a full cast of characters that become our little learners' educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative, and positive Preschool Teacher to join our team. Our hours of operation are from 7-6 pm. 8-hour shifts. We are looking to hire a full-time Teacher for our center. In this position, you will be working with children from 3 to 4 year olds. Hours for this position would be 8:15-5:15 pm, Monday-Friday.

In this Preschool Teacher position, you will be responsible for:

• Working with children on art, and sign language, helping them express themselves, leading story time, etc.
• Being positive, energetic, and upbeat with the children as you guide them through the day.
• Providing feedback to the parents about their child's day.
• Being a creative teacher, who enjoys working with young children!

Preschool Teacher Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Previous experience teaching and working with children in any setting
• A great personality
• Good work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Preferred Two-year degree (in a child-related field) or higher/ Has EDU 119
• NC Credentials I & II/ CDA preferred
• Preferred CPR & First Aid Certification
• Preferred ITS/SIDS Training Certification
• Able to interact with students of all ages and development levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.50 - $18 per hour

Our preschool center will be practicing all the health care tool kit guidelines according to the state of NC.
