The Infant/Toddler Teacher is responsible for a classroom of children 6 weeks - 2 years of age. The teacher will work collaboratively with his/her co-teacher to ensure the successful operation of the classroom. The teacher, along with families and colleagues, work to achieve meaningful progress of each child along his/her unique developmental path.
*Primary Responsibilities include:*
Demonstrate commitment to mission, values, and policies in the performance of daily duties
Is aware and complies with all licensing standards
Implement curriculum and create activities that align with Iowa Learning Standards
Provide a nurturing and responsive environment
Create partnerships with families with daily communication
Ensure the health and safety of each child
To be a contributory team member in a positive and productive manner
To ensure the classroom is home-like, safe, and cleaned daily
Maintain confidentiality
*Requirements include:*
Early Childhood experience but not required
1st Aid/CPR
Physical exam
Background check
Valid license and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
