Robins Nest Children's Center seeks an energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our 5-STAR child care program.This position is a great opportunity for a motivated educator to work with children from infants to age three in a play-based program. The Teacher's primary responsibilities include working in multi-age classrooms to promote learning and development, collaborating with our experienced team, engaging in emergent curriculum, and communicating with children, parents, and staff.The ideal Teacher candidate will have completed early childhood or related coursework and have at least a year of experience working with children.
Robin's Nest will happily support an enthusiastic Trainee Teacher or a seasoned Teacher who wants to work with a great community of teachers. Pay will be reflective of the candidate's education and experience.
We will also consider a fall start date for the right candidate.
Duties
Initiate and direct activities to aid in development
Communicate with children, staff, and parents regarding specific daily information
Ensure the health and safety of all children
Diapering and bathroom assistance
Follow all policies and procedures as defined by RNCC
Adhere to NAEYC's code of ethics
Help maintain the center's cleanliness through various duties
Special tasks as assigned
Requirements
At least 18 years of age
Minimum of one year working in the ECE field and/or related coursework (as described in 7.3.2.3 Licensing Regulations)
An understanding of child development and eagerness to learn more
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Must successfully pass a full background check
