Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center - Riverside Pediatric Medical Day Care  is dedicated to providing specialized care and education for young children with medical and developmental needs. Our program offers a nurturing environment that fosters the growth of children in both educational and therapeutic settings.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant/Pretoddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with children creating a positive and engaging atmosphere that fosters learning, growth, and emotional development.

This is a full time position working Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year working in a daycare

Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.

Ability to adapt to the needs of children in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers

Implement daily activities that support cognitive, emotional, and physical development

Collaborate with nurses, therapists (PT, OT, ST), and other staff to support each child’s individualized care plan

Maintain accurate daily records of feedings, naps, activities, and developmental milestones

Follow all health and safety protocols specific to caring for medically fragile children

Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress and needs

Assist in feeding, diapering, and other personal care routines with a high level of sensitivity and respect

Support therapeutic goals set by developmental specialists during daily routines and play
