About the Role: Join The Goddard School of Aurora (South) as a Lead Infant Teacher! The Infant Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. This role requires an understanding of early childhood development, strong communication with families, and collaboration with co-teachers to support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of each child.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement creative lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom activities. Maintain a safe and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety regulations. Encourage positive behavior and social skills through effective classroom management techniques. Engage with parents through regular communication and participation in school events. Stay current with early childhood education trends and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred . Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Creative, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor. Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all children.
