Summary

We’re looking for a loving, patient, and nurturing caregiver to join our infant classroom in the afternoons! If you have a heart for babies and believe in supporting their earliest developmental milestones through warm, responsive care—this role is for you. You’ll work alongside a dedicated teaching team to ensure our infants feel safe, seen, and soothed in a consistent and engaging environment.

Duties

Provide attentive, gentle, and responsive care to infants ages 6 weeks to 18 months Assist with feeding, diapering, and nap routines in accordance with state guidelines and center policies Build secure attachments through cuddles, songs, eye contact, and meaningful interactions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Communicate daily with lead teachers and families about each child’s day Support developmental goals through age-appropriate activities and sensory exploration Ensure a calm, peaceful atmosphere during transitions and caregiving routines

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements Warm, nurturing, and dependable personality Commitment to being present, responsive, and emotionally available for young children

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in an infant or toddler classroom Familiarity with infant development and respectful caregiving approaches (example: Conscious Discipline) CPR/First Aid certification Strong teamwork and communication skills A sense of humor and a calm, grounded demeanor
