You'll Thrive In This Role If You Have:
- Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification (Required)
- Experience working with infants (6 weeks to 15 months) in a licensed early childhood education program, daycare, or child care center
- A warm, responsive caregiving style and understanding of infant development
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire)
Some Requirements Of The Role Include:
- Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts
- Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
- Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset
As An Infant Teacher, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Providing individualized, nurturing care to infants in a licensed child care or daycare setting
- Supporting early developmental milestones through tummy time, sensory play, cuddles, and structured routines
- Ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment by following best practices for diapering, feeding, and safe sleep
- Building trusting relationships with families by maintaining open and ongoing communication about each child's growth
