We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced teacher to lead our infant program for children 6 months through 18 months old. The successful candidate will be warm and nurturing, and be excited about helping children develop independence, confidence, language and motor skills, be attentive to cleanliness, safety and supervision and be a team player. Montessori training and experienced are strongly preferred. At a minimum we are looking for a candidate excited to learn more about the Montessori philosophy and willing to participate in training to increase their knowledge and skills.

Education Requirements for an Infant Teacher Qualified Candidate:

* 12 units of early childhood education, including 3 units of infant/toddler development * At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare program

Job Duties:

* Create a curriculum plan to introduce a variety of concepts to the children. * Create/curate and maintain engaging activities for the children to choose from on the classroom shelves. * Lead circle time including songs and activity presentations * Manage the personal care needs of the children including diapering/potty learning, bottles and feeding, dressing, napping * Communicate about the program and the children's day with parents * Guide an assistant or co-teacher * Maintain a clean, safe, orderly and beautiful environment for the children both indoors and outside.

We have one position available. It would be a lead teacher, 7:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.
