The Role
As an Infant Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping the minds and hearts of our littlest learners. You will:
- Provide Nurturing Care: Create a warm, safe, and loving environment where infants feel secure, promoting healthy emotional and social development.
- Implement Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum: Follow our L.E.A.P. curriculum to deliver stimulating activities that foster cognitive, physical, and language development through age-appropriate play and exploration.
- Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate positive and trusting relationships with infants, parents, and fellow teachers. Facilitate open communication about each child's progress.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure the infant classroom is safe, clean, and organized to promote optimal learning and well-being.
Qualifications
- Passion for Early Childhood Education: A genuine love for infants and a desire to make a positive impact on their development.
- Educational Background:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Patience, Kindness, and Creativity: Ability to work with infants in a calm and supportive manner, using creativity to engage their minds.
- Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: Build positive relationships with parents and work collaboratively within a team environment.
