Summary

This Is My Child is an early care and education center located in the Middle Tyger Community Center in Lyman, SC. The position is for an Infant-Toddler Teacher Assistant. It is a full-time position, 7:30-4:30, Monday-Friday. An Infant-Toddler Teacher Assistant works with Infants, One-year-olds or Two-year-olds. The center operates on the Spartanburg County School District 5 calendar and is therefore closed in the summer and major holidays. The average number of days of work in a school year is 195 days.

Duties

Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs. Assist Lead Teacher in implementing classroom activities Assist Lead Teacher with classroom bulletin boards, pictures, and child artwork Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and pleasant environment Follow center policies and state regulations

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Age 18 years of age or older Willingness to obtain additional training or education at no expense to you Ability to work with others Must be willing to kneel, bend, and squat in the classroom and playground environment

Willingness to obtain the following documents: Good health as confirmed by a physician's statement Negative TB Test Fingerprint clearance/SLED check
