The Council Rock School District is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to provide support to our Human Resources Department. This Confidential HR Assistant will provide support in the administration of employee benefits, which includes facilitation of the district's annual open enrollment process, new employee benefit enrollment, life changes, and responding to employee questions regarding the district's benefit package. This individual serves as the primary point for all workers' compensation injuries and serves as a key member of the district's Safety Committee. Additionally this individual is responsible for managing all unemployment claims and employee accrual.
Duties will include: assisting with the administration of employee benefits by responding to questions/issues, reconciling employee benefit billing, working extensively in our HRIS system, Tyler Munis, calculating employee payroll deductions for benefits, and scheduling and conducting new employee orientations, and interfacing with administrators, staff and community members.
Qualified candidates: must possess either a Bachelor's degree or at least 1-2 years of recent/relevant experience in a Human Resources department, preferably in the area of employee benefits. Additionally, the qualified candidate will have strong customer service skills, general knowledge and experience using excel, experience working in a high volume, fast paced office, as well as, creative problem solving skills, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of database systems, MS Office (Excel/ Access), HRIS systems and strong technology skills required.
