Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of historical concepts, a love for teaching, and the ability to integrate faith-based principles into the curriculum.
Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging history lessons that align with the school’s academic and spiritual goals. Teach a range of historical topics, including world history, U.S. history, and government. Foster critical thinking, discussion, and analysis among students. Incorporate a biblical worldview into lesson plans, helping students understand history from a Christian perspective. Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and exams. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Teaching certification or credential (or willingness to obtain). Experience teaching history at the middle or high school level is a plus. Strong commitment to Christian values and the mission of [Insert School Name].
