Position Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with state and national curriculum standards.

Teach history courses, including U.S. History, World History, and/or other specialized history subjects as assigned.

Foster an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely feedback.

Utilize a variety of instructional methods and technology to enhance learning.

Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.

Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required. Experience & Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Prior teaching experience at the high school level preferred. Skills & Competencies: Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Passion for history and education, with the ability to inspire students.
