What You’ll Do: • Plan and execute rigorous lessons aligned to Common Core and unit objectives • Create a structured, engaging classroom culture rooted in high expectations • Use data daily to drive instruction, track progress, and adjust pacing • Communicate consistently with families and school stakeholders on scholar progress • Uphold behavioral standards, classroom routines, and student engagement protocols • Collaborate with peers and school leaders to drive academic and culture goals
Experience You’ll Need: • Bachelor’s degree and valid CA Single Subject teaching credential • Experience in teaching High School Mathematics • Authorization to teach EL/SDAIE learners • Proven record or strong indicators of success in urban school environments • Commitment to working in underserved communities and eliminating educational disparity • Bilingual abilities (Spanish) a plus
