High School Economics/Social Studies Teacher Qualifications:
  1. Degree in content specific field.
  2. Knowledge of current Massachusetts Frameworks expectations for Reading and Writing across the curriculum.
  3. Deep understanding of evidence based practices for teaching in social studies. Knowledge of best practices for assessing student progress toward achievement of standard.
  4. A minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check.
