Creativity to develop lessons that address multiple learning styles and abilities.

Ability and willingness to set up instructional space for engaging physical education lessons.

Ability to deliver health instruction of sensitive topics (ie. Family Life Education).

EXPERIENCE: Experience teaching (level of position) school students preferred.

Undergraduate degree in health and physical education preferred.

Experience teaching students with special needs, diverse populations and second language learners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.

Physical Education and Health endorsement.

Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
