Conducted via Zoom Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Physical Education Teacher for an onsite high school position in Chester, PA for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, weekly compensation, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and standards-based instruction in health and physical education to high school students. Demonstrate mastery of subject matter, instructional strategies, and relevant resource materials. Create and implement detailed lesson plans aligned with current Pennsylvania state and district standards. Use formative assessments and differentiation strategies to drive instruction. Establish and maintain a safe, positive, and effective classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering respect and accountability. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student achievement. Requirements:
Must hold an active teaching certification in Health and Physical Education. A bachelors degree is required to be eligible for an emergency teaching permit (if full certification is not yet in hand). Must have previous school-based experience. Proven strength in classroom and behavioral management. Experience working in an urban school setting is strongly preferred. Must be comfortable with the district, location, and urban school environment. Must be able to complete and provide all required Pennsylvania teaching clearances. Benefits Include:
