*About Children's Creative Center:* Children's Creative Center is a vibrant and nurturing daycare facility dedicated to fostering early childhood development. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our committed team.

*Job Summary:* The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating and maintaining a warm, supportive, and educational environment for children aged 15-27 months. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and fostering strong partnerships with families.
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for toddlers. * Provide constant supervision to ensure the safety of all children, both indoors and outdoors. * Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. * Observe and assess children's progress, documenting developmental milestones and behaviors. * Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns. * Collaborate with co-teachers and administrative staff to ensure a cohesive and high-quality program. * Assist children with daily routines including meals, snacks, nap time, and potty training. * Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and Children's Creative Center policies. * Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that respects individual differences and promotes positive peer interactions.
*Qualifications:*
* A minimum of an Associate’s degree in child development or early childhood education * With 18 credits in early childhood education, candidates with 21 credit hours will be strongly considered * Or a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred. * Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting. * Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for toddler-aged children. * Strong classroom management and organizational skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children. * Ability to lift children and equipment as needed, and to be physically active throughout the day. * Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). * Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
*Highly preferred candidates will have: *
* Gateways to Opportunity Level I Illinois Director Credential * OR 3 semester hours of college credit in administration, leadership or management * OR 3 points of credential-approved training in administration, leadership or management.
