As a GSRP Associate Teacher at Heartfelt Impressions, you will collaborate with the GSRP Lead Teacher on the care, supervision, and management of a PreK classroom in accordance with set goals and curriculum plans.

- Regular, full time
- Days, Monday -Friday
- Hours, 8:30am-5pm
- Desired start Monday, August 25, 2025
- Pay range $18-$22/hour, depending on education and experience
Requirements
- Must have a CDA (Child Development Associate certificate) or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education/related field
- Must have full-time availability and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check (fingerprinting)
- CPR certification

Essential functions of the GSRP Associate teacher...
- Assists lead teacher in curriculum planning and execution
- Abides by all Michigan childcare licensing rules and regulations
- Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized
- Create an effective and stimulating environment for learning, which meets the standards set forth in the Program Quality Assessment
- Conduct Child Assessment (ASQ, PQA, COR)
- Participate in monthly staff meetings, outings, and parent events
- Interact with children in an appropriate manner and demonstrate problem solving skills and conflict resolution when necessary
- Participate in home visits with the lead teacher to partner with parents to meet the educational needs of their children
