Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. This position invites a certified Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a vibrant school setting. Serving grades K-5, this role focuses on delivering specialized instruction to students with disabilities primarily including Other Health Impairments (OHI), Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Language Impairments. The teacher will work closely with students integrated in general education classrooms, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and socially.

Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5) Ability to serve students with a range of disabilities including OHI, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Language Impairments Strong collaboration skills to work within general education settings and interdisciplinary teams Capacity to manage and adjust a fluid caseload, typically supporting 10-15 students at a time Location: Easton, Maryland Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and classroom activities Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Maintain detailed records and communicate effectively with families and school staff Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students This contract position spans the full 2025-2026 school year, starting August 18, 2025, and concluding June 16, 2026, with a five-day workweek.
