An opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in a K-12 public school setting located in Pembina, ND. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, with the start date on August 20, 2025, and concluding on May 22, 2026. The school district serves approximately 300 students, fostering a collaborative environment dedicated to tailored educational support. Positions are open for the following grade ranges: One opening for K-5 Special Education Teacher Two openings for Grades 9-12 Special Education Teachers Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in compliance with IEP guidelines Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to promote student success Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary Participate in team meetings and professional development activities Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Preferred Experience and Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification for applicable grade levels K-5, 6-8, or 9-12 Experience working with students with diverse learning needs Willingness to engage in the para-to-teacher program, especially for candidates transitioning from paraprofessional roles Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to student growth and educational equity This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $30 and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive community.
