: · Develop lesson plans and instructional ideas according to school standards.

· Develop creative learning opportunities for student’s education, social and behavioral growth.

· Interact with parents to inform them about their children’s academic progress.

· Maintain an orderly classroom environment.

· Have a strong background in scientifically based reading instruction.

· Applicants must be willing to participate in faculty meetings, in-service learning opportunities, and extra-curricular activities as needed.

· Participate in the prayer life of the school.

· Supervise lunch, recess, and outdoor activities as needed. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Newman Guide schools preferred)

• Must be a practicing Catholic

• CPR and 1st Aid certification

• Previous lower grammar experience is a plus.

• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
