District: Beavercreek City Schools Beavercreek City Schools is seeking a Grade 4 - English Language Arts Teacher at Valley Elementary School.

Certification/Licensure: All applicants must possess a valid Ohio Certificate/License in the appropriate areas. Several examples of appropriate licensure (not all-inclusive) include: Elementary K-5, Elementary P-3 with a 4-5 Generalist Endorsement, and Middle Childhood ELA.

All applicants must possess or be eligible for a valid Ohio educator license or certificate for the appropriate grade level and content area(s) of instruction.

Science of Reading Information

Beavercreek City Schools is committed to meeting the requirements of the State of Ohio as outlined in Ohio Revised Code 3313.6028 requiring districts to use the science of reading for literacy instruction. "Science of Reading" is defined in the law as an interdisciplinary body of scientific evidence that informs how students learn to read and write proficiently. Any employees new to the district will be guided on what professional development to complete based on your teaching assignment and a timeline for completion. The starting salary from the approved teacher salary schedule ranges from:

Bachelor's Degree: $46,552 to $70,936 based on prior teacher verification, experience, and training

Master's Degree: $52,571 to 85,963 based on prior teacher verification, experience and training.

Included in the contract is a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as paid Personal Leave and Sick Leave.

184 Day work days per year.

New Staff Orientation: August 6, 7, 8, 2025. First work day August 12, 2025
