The Early Learning Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining a nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages birth to three years of age, in accordance with Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) standards. The teacher ensures a safe, engaging, and supportive space that promotes children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

Requirements

Education: Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA), Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC), or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood education setting. Certification: Must be registered in the Georgia Professional Development System (GaPDS) and maintain current required credentials. Knowledge of GELDS , Bright from the Start policies, and best practices in early childhood development.

Nice To Haves

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Experience working in a Georgia Pre-K or Quality Rated child care setting.
