QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold State of Delaware Certification in Teacher of Students who are Gifted and Talented Experience in a school setting as a gifted/enrichment teacher Broad cultural interests and enthusiasm Demonstrated abilities in planning and leading staff development activities Skill in stimulating independent study and creativity Demonstrated competency in classroom teaching Knowledge of technology desirable Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to attend summer training Must be able to stand and work continuously for a minimum of 4 hours per workday. Minimum lifting requirements- 50 pounds (with assistance). Must be able to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students Salary : Teacher salary schedule based on experience and degree.
