The Danvers Public Schools is looking for a dynamic, passionate, certified elementary music educator to lead a student centered, K-5 general/vocal music program. Reports To: Great Oak School Principal Roles and Responsibilities The candidate will be someone who is excited to collaborate with the elementary music department to deliver lessons grounded in the Danvers Public Schools elementary music curriculum. Responsibilities will include designing and implementing creative student centered lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of our students, directing a fourth and fifth grade children' s chorus, collaborative participation in elementary and district wide music department meetings. Experience with, or certification in the Orff Schulwerk Approach is preferred.
