Summary

The ideal candidate will serve as the assistant teacher in our GA Pre-K program, which includes working with children to create a safe and nurturing environment for social and academic growth. Experience with GA Pre-k is a plus, and there are opportunities for future advancement. Longevity is important, and hiring staff dedicated to educating their students is a top priority for us! Our salary for this position is often the highest among schools in the area.
Salary is based on experience and credentials.

Duties

• Teach students the fundamentals of PreK and design an outstanding classroom with engaging activities.
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, performances, projects, assignments, and papers.
• Prepare students for performances.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Participate in campus and community events.
• Keep students informed of community events, such as plays and concerts.

Requirements

• Para Pro Certificate / CDA / TCC (minimum of 1 of these)
• Evaluate student work.
• Coordinate student extracurricular activities.
• Develop instructional materials.
• Guide class discussions.
• Attend training sessions or professional meetings to develop or maintain professional knowledge.
• Maintain student records.
• Develop instructional objectives.
• Select educational materials or equipment.
