Summary Description:

Under direction of the principal and special education supervisor, provides instructional support to students with disabilities and general classroom teachers who are served through the following programs: Hearing and Vision, Autism, Emotional Disabilities (ED), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Speech and Language (SL), Physical Disabilities (PD), Learning for Independence (LFI), and the School Community-based (SCB) Program. Monitors and evaluates outcomes for students with disabilities. Assists in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Physical Demands: As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job. Special Requirements: Required to attend school meetings, programs, and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the Montgomery County Education Association agreement. Job
