Job Information:

• Ref: 186184/186185

• Student: two children (2 and 5 years old), taking individual lessons

• Location: Lexington, MA (area of Concord Turnpike/Waltham St)

• Availability: Monday to Friday 4:00 pm–8:00 pm, Monday & Friday 12:00 pm–4:00 pm, Weekends

• Preferred start date: ASAP

• Lesson Frequency: 4 times per week

• Lesson Duration: 30 minutes for each child

• Preferred platform: Face-to-face

• Current target language level: complete beginner

• Native and other spoken languages: Danish

• Student’s language needs and goals: Understand verbal/spoken English and speak the language 

• Additional Information: Student is interested in rainbows, unicorns, animals, princesses, skiing, skating, biking, and drawing.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of experience

• Experience teaching children is preferred
