Employee Child Care Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant Part-Time

Anderson County Schools Preschool is seeking an assistant for our Employee Child Care program for the 2025-2026 school year at Claxton Elementary School. ECC TAs assist the lead teacher in the instruction and care of children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Day-to-day activities are designed to promote developmentally appropriate social interactions and physical and cognitive growth. Classrooms are set up with one lead teacher and four assistants, caring for a maximum of 16 infants and/or toddlers.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, and experience working with small children is preferred.
This position is 196 days per year. The hours are 11:15 am-4:45 pm, M-F.
ECC employees are paid on the Anderson County Schools' Educational Assistants pay scale.
