Closing Date: 08/26/2025 The Ardsley School District is seeking an Elementary Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:

The Elementary School Teacher will provide high-quality, engaging instruction to a diverse group of learners, fostering a safe and supportive classroom environment. The teacher will design and deliver lessons aligned to the New York State Learning Standards, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based literacy practices grounded in the science of reading. This role requires a commitment to meeting the needs of all students through differentiated instruction, collaboration with colleagues, and ongoing professional growth.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a probationary 10 month position

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Create and maintain a classroom environment that is safe, respectful, inclusive, and conducive to learning. Plan, deliver, and assess standards-based lessons using evidence-based practices and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students Use data to inform instruction, monitor progress, and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success. Collaborate regularly with grade-level colleagues, support staff, and families to enhance student learning. Engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen instructional practices and remain current in evidence based methods.

EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated annually using the same method as teachers.
