Sunshine State Academy seeks to find an elite teacher to join our team of amazing educators. The ideal candidate must have a passion for teaching and will be responsible for preparing and implementing interactive, creative, and engaging hands-on instruction in alignment with the Florida Standards.

You must have the ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust.

Required Requirements:

Florida Teacher Certification OR Temporary Florida Teacher Certification with passing scores on all exams within one year of employment

One-year prior related experience in a classroom instructional setting

Knowledge, experience, and demonstrated actions of best practices in curriculum, instruction, and school policies and philosophies

Ability to communicate with persons with varied cultural and educational backgrounds, communicate in oral and written form

Code of Conduct and Ethics Agreement signatory upon employment

Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills

Background Screening and Fingerprinting

Education Required:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the field of Education (Degree may be in another field if you hold a current Florida Teaching Certificate)

Candidates without the required experience and credentials will not be considered.
