Date Available: 08/25/2025 Candlewood Lake Elementary School is looking for an excellent Elementary Teacher.

Location: Brookfield Public Schools - Candlewood Lake Elementary School: 4th Grade

Important Dates: August 25 & 26: New Hire Orientation August 27: First Day for Current Teaching Staff September 2: First Day for Students Responsibilities: Implementing and delivering an engaging, standards-aligned elementary curriculum to support students' academic and social-emotional growth. Creating a positive, nurturing classroom environment where students are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Collaborating with fellow educators and school staff to support student development and success. Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Maintaining classroom management and implementing school policies and procedures. Completing all required administrative tasks, including grading and reporting on student progress. Requirements: Valid Connecticut Elementary Teaching certification. Experience teaching at the elementary level preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Passion for working with children and fostering a positive learning experience.
