Extended Leave Certified Substitute (Temporary Position)

Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with proper endorsement(s) for subject area(s).
  • Be available to teach until the regular employee is able to assume normal duties.
  • Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457

Terms Of Employment: A minimum of fifteen (15) days or more consecutive days to be worked in accordance with the student days on the Cherokee County School Academic Calendar.

Salary: $105.00 dollars per day until regular employee has exhausted all leave and then will be paid at the daily rate of BS/0 Years.
