Elementary School Special Education Teacher Job Information: Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday Caseload: Elementary, Self Contained Location: Onsite in Salida, CO

Special Education Teacher Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education Valid or pending Colorado teaching license with Special Education endorsement Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available) Recent graduates are encouraged to apply

Elementary School Special Education Teacher Job Duties: Deliver specially designed instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans using positive supports Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support inclusive education Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and data-driven planning sessions Maintain compliance with IDEA, Colorado Department of Education regulations, and district standards
