About the Role

The Innovation Hub Robotics & Technology Teacher will inspire and empower students in grades K–5 through hands-on, future-ready learning experiences in our dedicated Innovation Hub. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about STEAM, design thinking, and cultivating digital literacy in a 1:1 iPad environment.

Curriculum & Tools

Robotics Platforms: VEX GO, VEX 123, VEX IQ

EdTech Tools: Sphero, drones, coding apps (block- and text-based)

Technology Skills: Keyboarding, digital citizenship, basic AI concepts, app-based creation

Learning Frameworks: Design Thinking, Project-Based Learning, STEAM integration

Design and implement engaging robotics and technology lessons aligned with school-wide innovation goals

Teach foundational through advanced coding and robotics using VEX and Sphero platforms

Promote digital citizenship and age-appropriate technology use

Guide students through problem-solving, engineering, and collaborative design challenges Organize and maintain Innovation Hub materials and technology tools

Collaborate with classroom teachers to create cross-curricular learning opportunities

Lead or support enrichment programs such as Robotics Club, AI/STEM exploration days, or Maker events

Stay current with trends in educational technology and innovation

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Experience teaching STEM, robotics, or technology in an elementary school setting preferred

Proficiency with platforms such as VEX Robotics, Sphero, iPads, drones, and introductory AI tools preferred

Knowledge of coding tools such as Scratch Jr, Swift Playgrounds, and Kodable

Strong classroom management and a passion for inspiring curiosity and confidence in young learners

Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
