As an Elementary Music Teacher, you will create and implement a flexible program and classroom environment conducive to student learning and personal growth. Develop lesson plans aligned with established guidelines, establish rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge to provide a solid educational foundation tailored to each student's ability.
How You Will Impact Education
Plan and implement instruction adhering to the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives as outlined in the adopted courses of study.
Create purposeful and effective lesson plans that incorporate real-world applications and maximize learning opportunities.
Review student records to understand individual abilities and needs, maintain accurate records, and strive to maximize each student's achievement.
Utilize various learning modalities and differentiated instruction within lessons.
Assess student learning frequently, provide activities to address needs, and generate progress reports.
Refer students with suspected learning problems to support personnel, correct student work, and review oral presentations.
Coordinate class field trips as required and prepare students for state assessments.
Stay current with subject matter knowledge and contribute to curriculum development and revision.
Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning, maintaining positive rapport and implementing policies on student conduct.
Develop lesson plans, participate in curriculum planning, and incorporate diagnostic information into planning.
Establish cooperative relations and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and the community.
Participate in extracurricular activities to promote a positive school culture.
Required Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and valid teaching certification.
One to three years of successful teaching experience or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of grades/subject content and learning theories.
Effective instructional delivery and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SIS, and email communication.
Commitment to continuous improvement and character education.
