QUALIFICATIONS
* New Jersey (K-6) Teaching Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (CE) * Bachelor's Degree * Excellent references
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of Diocesan curriculum and show written evidence of preparation as required. * Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned. * Prepare learning materials which include educational bulletin boards. * Monitor student work. * Establish and maintain consistent routines. * Participate in in-service programs as needed. * Attend faculty/staff meetings as assigned by the administration. * Relate well to others through written and oral communication. * Work with other teachers on grade level and other departments in the school. * Work collaboratively with teachers, staff and administration. * Establish an environment encouraging creative and independent use of instructional technology. * Utilize educational technology to accommodate remote learning if needed. * Utilize and integrate tools, software, and special equipment such as Microsoft Surface, iPads, Interactive White Boards, etc. * Foster and encourage intellectual curiosity. * Meet with students and parents to discuss any concerns or issues with student progress and learning. * Set appropriate tasks and challenges for assessments. * Accurately access student learning through formative and summative assessments and effectively adapt instruction based on these assessments. * Perform other duties as assigned by administration and its representatives. * Model Christian behavior and demonstrate the morals and values contained in the Gospels.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
* Agree to abide by any state or local health department guidelines. * Stand for most of the day. * Sit with and lean over students, as well as bend, crouch, stoop, kneel and crawl in an effort to assist individuals as permitted by social distancing regulations. * Balance and walk around the classroom. * Reach out and above with hands and arms; up to chalkboard, interactive white board and bulletin board height. * Climb stairs to various rooms (cafeteria, library, gym, etc.). * Climb and stand on a short ladder. * Push or pull carts with educational equipment. * Manipulate educational tools (scissors, hole-punchers, tactile materials etc.). * Verbalize, listen and hear.

Pay: $34,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
