This position has been created in response to increased student enrollment. The specific grade level and building assignment-ranging from Kindergarten through Grade 5-will be determined at a later date. Placement may be at CPS, IPS, CIS, or IIS.

Qualifications/Experience: Minnesota teaching license required. Successful background check required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught; thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching; ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior; ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents.

Specific Tasks: Provide an ideal, positive learning environment, instruct students in individual or group sessions, develop, translate and integrate lesson plans, and establish positive relationships. Hours Per Day: 7.5 hours/day As per contract
