An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to serve Early Childhood and PreK students during the 2025-2026 school year. This itinerant role requires traveling to various schools and early childhood centers within the area, providing both inclusive classroom instruction and targeted pull-out support for individual students. The schedule typically involves teaching in the mornings, with afternoons dedicated to administrative duties, testing, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development during student naptime. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to Early Childhood and PreK students in inclusive classroom settings and through individualized pull-out sessions. Conduct assessments and testing to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and other educational professionals. Travel to multiple school locations, including early childhood centers and Head Start programs. Manage administrative responsibilities related to special education service delivery. Qualifications and Preferred Experience: Valid Arkansas Special Education Teaching License. Experience teaching in Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education settings. Skilled in serving students with autism spectrum disorders (preferred). Ability to manage itinerant responsibilities and maintain flexibility in daily schedule. Strong organizational skills to handle teaching, testing, and administrative tasks effectively.
