A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the 2025/2026 school year, dedicated to supporting early childhood and PreK students. This itinerant position is based in the Hampton, AR area and involves traveling to various schools and centers, including ABC Centers and Head Start programs.
Responsibilities include providing a blend of inclusive classroom instruction and pull-out support tailored to individual students needs. Mornings are primarily focused on direct teaching, while afternoons are reserved for administrative tasks such as testing, individualized education program (IEP) development, and related paperwork during naptime.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Arkansas Special Education Teaching License (required)
Experience working with early childhood and elementary school students
Ability to travel to multiple locations within the designated area
Strong background in providing special education support within inclusive environments
Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and experience supporting students with autism (highly preferred)
Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage teaching responsibilities and documentation effectively
Location: Hampton, AR (with travel to nearby educational centers)
