Core Responsibilities in Middle School ELA Instruction

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state English Language Arts standards and promote critical thinking, communication, and creativity.

Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and maintain a stimulating classroom environment.

Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications for ELA Teaching Success

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.

Valid state teaching certification for middle school English Language Arts is required.

Experience in teaching middle school students, preferably in an ELA classroom setting, is advantageous.

Strong knowledge of middle school ELA curriculum standards and teaching strategies.
